Brief description of trial (Data source: BASEC)
In dieser Studie, werden Personen, die unter starken selbstkritischen Tendenzen leiden, zufällig zwei Studiengruppen zugeordnet. Die erste Gruppe erhält Zugang zu einer internetbasierten Selbsthilfeintervention. Die zweite Gruppe besteht aus einer Wartekontrollgruppe. Die Behandlungsdauer ist auf 8 Wochen limitiert. In beiden Studienbedingungen sind zusätzlich Behandlungen erlaubt. Ziel der Studie ist es, die Wirksamkeit einer Online-Selbsthilfeprogramms auf depressive, Angst und Stress-Symptome mit einer Wartekontrollgruppe zu vergleichen. Datenerhebungen werden nach 8 Wochen resp. 6 Monaten durchgeführt.

Selbsthilfe-Intervention:
Es handelt sich um eine internetbasierte Selbsthilfe, welche auf der Basis des Programms „Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living“ (van den Brink & Koster, 2015) entwickelt wurde. Das Selbsthilfeprogramm besteht aus sie-ben textbasierten Sitzungen, verschiedenen Übungen (z.B. Atemmeditati-on, Tagebüchern (z.B. Beobachten des selbstkritischen Umgangs) und Aufgaben (Beschreibung eines mitfühlenden Begleiters). Die Teilnehmer haben die Möglichkeit Fragen an das Studienteam zu stellen.

- Zugang zu einer schnellen Internetverbindung
Exclusion criteria

- akute Suizidalität
- Substanzabhängigkeit, Bipolare Störung, psychotischen Erkrankung

- Increased levels of self-criticism
- 18 years or older
- Internet account
- Sufficient German language skills
- Written informed consent
Exclusion Criteria:
- Substance dependence, psychotic disorder, bipolar disorder
- Acute suicidality
