Brief description of trial (Data source: BASEC)
Ziel der Studie ist es, zu untersuchen, ob die deutsche Version des Neck Disability Index (NDI-G) empfindlich auf Veränderung ist. Dazu werden mindestens 50 Patienten mit chronischen Nackenschmerzen gebeten den NDI-G und die PGIC insgesamt zweimal auszufüllen. Zu Beginn der Studie und nach 7 Wochen
Die Ergebnisse der Studie stellen die Komplettierung der Überprüfung der psychometrischen Eigenschaften des NDI-G dar. Somit steht, der bereits auf Validität und Reliabilität geprüfte Fragebogen, definitiv als brauchbares Instrument für den deutschsprachigen Raum zur Verfügung.

Die Patienten sollten sich bereits in chiropraktischer oder physiktherapeutischer Behandlung auf Grund von Nackenschmerzen befinden.

Criteria for participation in trial

• Patienten mit chronischen Nackenschmerzen
• Männer und Frauen (≥18 Jahre alt)
• Unterschriebene Einverständniserklärung
• Fähigkeit Deutsch zu lesen, zu sprechen und zu schreiben
Exclusion criteria

Krankheitsbilder, die eine manualtherapeutische Behandlung der Halswirbelsäule ausschliessen z.B. Frakturen, Ostoporose, Tumore der Halswirbelsäule, Infektionen der Halswirbelsäule. Ebenso nicht eingeschlossen werden Patienten mit systemischen Erkrankungen z.B. rheumatische Polyarthritis oder kognitiven Beeinträchtigungen

- informed consent
- able to speak, write and read German.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Any problems that may exclude Manual Therapy treatment of the cervical spine e.g
fractures
