Etude de phase III visant à comparer le bénéfice éventuel de l’ajout de l’avelumab à la combinaison cetuximab-radiothérapie en comparaison avec les traitements standards de référence qui associent soit radiothérapie et cetuximab, soit radiothérapie et cisplatine dans le cancer épidermoïde localement avancé de la tête et du cou.

Sans contre-indications au cisplatine:
-Groupe A: Radiothérapie et cisplatine
-Groupe B: Radiothérapie, cetuximab et avelumab
Avec contre-indications au cisplatine:
-Groupe C. Radiothérapie, cetuximab et avelumab
-Groupe D: Radiothérapie et cetuximab
Criteria for participation in trial

- Cancer épidermoïde localement avancé, histologiquement confirmé, non-traité précédemment
- Stade III, stade IVa (i.e. opérable, mais non-opérés) ou IVb (non résecable)
- Cavité orale, oropharynx, hypopharynx ou larynx
Exclusion criteria

- Cancers du nasopharynx, des sinus paranasaux, tumeurs de la cavité nasale ou cancer de la thyroide.
- Cancer incluant des ganglions lymphatiques du cou avec un site primaire inconnu.
- Maladie métastatique (stade IVc)
