Brief description of trial (Data source: BASEC)
Bei dieser Studie geht es darum herauszufinden, ob es ein einfach erhältliches Bonbon gibt, welches Mundtrockenheit lindert. Dazu werden fünf verschiedene Bonbons eines bekannten Schweizer Bonbon-Herstellers verwendet und Daten bezüglich der Speichelfliessrate pro Minute und des pH Wertes erhoben. Dazu werden die Probanden nach jedem Versuch gebeten, einen Fragebogen auszufüllen. Weder der Arzt noch der Proband wissen während der Testung, welcher Proband welches Bonbon wann erhalten hat.

Wir wollen mit dieser Studie untersuchen, ob es durch die mechanische Speichelstimulation durch Lutschen eines Bonbons und / oder sauren Geschmack zu einer statistisch signifikanten Speichelproduktionsvermehrung kommt.
Ziel der Studie ist es mithilfe eines Bonbons ier chronische Mundtrockenheit (Xerostomie bei z.B. Sjögren Syndrom, Sicca Syndrom, Strahlenpatienten) zu lindern.
